BHINDI DO PYAZA

BHINDI DO PYAZA
INGREDIENT

Ladies finger (bhindis)                             400 Gms
Chopped onions                                       75 Gms
Cumin seeds (Jeera)                      1 tbsp
Nigella seeds (kalonji)                    ½ tsp
Turmeric powder (haldi)                           ¼ tsp
Red chilly Pd (mirchi)                     1 tsp
Aamchur Pd                                    ½ tsp
Ginger (adrak) paste                      1 tbsp
Garlic (lehsun) paste                      1 tbsp
Green chilies, chopped                           2 no
Shallots (madras onion)                          50 gms
Oil                                                     3 tbsp
Salt                                                   to taste
Coriander leaves fresh (chopped)         to garnish

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1.   Wash dry and cut in small fingers lady finger and shallots and keep it aside.
2.   Heat the oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds and nigella seeds and allow the seeds to crackle.
3.   Add the onions, ginger, garlic and green chilies sauté it for 2-3 minutes. Add turmeric Pd, red chilly Pd and cook it for some time.
4.   Then add fried lady finger to it. Add salt cook it till lady finger get soft. Then add aamchur Pd, and deep fried shallots cook it some time.
5.   Finish it with coriander leaves. Serve it hot.
