      Vindaloo is the famous preparation from goa. Here the recipe is almost same which we are using in rest of the India. But the spices and condiments we are using after soaking into vinegar. That’s the turning point of the dish. In this paste you can add chicken, mutton, prawn and vegetable also to prepare your favorite vindaloo.

800 Gms             pork cut in 2 to 2 ½” pcs
150 Gms             chopped onions 
10 Gms               green chilies, slitted
2 tbsp                   garlic paste
2 tbsp                   ginger paste

10nos                  red chilies, whole
2 tbsp                  tamarind paste
1 tsp                    sugar
1 pinch                turmeric
1/2 tsp                 cumin
1/4 tsp                 cloves
1" piece              cinnamon
5 to 7 nos            pepper corns
½ tsp                   salt
1/2 cup                vinegar 


Heat oil in a pan. Fry onions till its soft. Add green chilies and ginger-garlic paste and further fry adding salt. Add the Paste and water and bring to boil. Add the Pork and cook on medium heat for 30 mins. Keep Stiring in between. Test if the pork is cooked nice and soft. If not, simmer for another 10 mins. Serve with Hot rice.
