East Indies (Odia food to savour you)

East Indies what a place to enjoy my home foods all the way from ODISHA. Before they opening seen the board while visited dalma... stepped into with lot of things inside my heart after got the recommendation from @trupti one of my fb friend. As I entered it's situated in the basement level but really comfortable. Planned by 4 non hospitality professionals but I have to say they designed it in a well manner tried and given odia touch as much as possible... around 30 covers restaurant... They don't have high end interiors because they really given stress on food. Because odia folks always after food not after the ambience and decor more.
Now coming to the food I started my food journey with delicious famous street food snacks that's DAHI BARA ALOO DUM... dumplings of black gram dipped into tampered curd and spicy potato semi gravy. Good one as per the Bangalore taste it's good. .. Then the starter comes chilly prawn not an odia dish but yes they tried to give it touch of odisha and improvising it. In the mains I got MATI HANDI MUTTON mutton curry prepared in earthen ware with big cubes of potatoes all-time favorite of every odia. Really hygienic place so need not to worry about your health... Since they are very new in market they are trying to add more dishes in the menu...
Overall experience is good...
Bon Appetite @Chef BB
