Meal Diaries - 20th FBAB Meet UP

     Got a chance to attend the 20the FBAB (Food Bloggers Association, Bangalore) meet up. Where some of the delicacies of Meal diaries got tasted by me and my fellow bloggers at ChaiPatty, Indiranagar. Bangalore is the top most city to get so many startups in that food start-ups large in number. In that list another name was added as Meal Diaries. Three College friends and a common passion for food, that’s how Meal Diaries was born. With the expertise of some of the best minds in the profession, they set up their first professional kitchen in October 2015. They are operating with daily changing menu what is bit tough but good as per the consumer point of view. Who want to eat the same thing on a daily basis.

    Some good salads came first to the serving sequels. The word "salad" comes from the French salade of the same meaning, from the Latin salata (salty), from sal (salt). In the list it’s Asian Green Salad with Lemon Coriander Dressing, Yasai Salad with Spicy Mayo Dressing, and Vietnamese Salad with Sweet & Sour Dressing. Made from fresh and high-quality ingredient and served with good quality dressings.
 
   The second course was my favourite small meals. In that, they served some nice Pita Pockets (Chilly Chicken/Corn Fritter), Whole Wheat Wrap (Veg Asian/Chicken Tikka), Burger(Chicken Schezwan/Veggie American). Pita bread is outsourced from a good vendor. Feelings are too good juicy not over dried. Whole Wheat wraps not attracted me a lot I don't know the reason. Burgers are really good in taste. I must say you will get the best burgers in a best price range.

   In the main course, they have two divisions some from abroad named as exotic global. In that, the best for Fish lovers I can suggest is Sri Lankan Fish Curry with Steamed Rice. Apart from that, some more dishes to mention in the list are Veggie Laksa, Pasta in Creamy Pesto Sauce with Chicken, Mushroom Ravioli in Tomato Concasse, Tian Vegetables with Saffron Rice. I liked the Sri Lankan fish curry because of it's coconut milk flavour. In Homely Indian section, they have some wow kind of food for you. The menu for the day as follows Bhindi Masala with Pakodi Kadhi, Manik's style Chicken Curry with Dal Tadka, Onion Cheese Chilly Paratha with Black Dal, Gobhi Paratha with Chola.






   Any meal in India finishes with sweet without that meal was incomplete. In the same sense Meal diaries served some outsourced but good quality Indian sweets Ras Malai, Gulab Jamun.

   Thanks to Chaipatty and Mr. Chiraga Yadav to allocate some place for our tasting session. We have finished with a smiling groupie.
